Arabic Translators Needed Immediately
In our quest to bring the stories of Hometown Baghdad to television, we are looking for a few translators in the New York area who can understand the Iraqi dialect. Ideally, native Iraqis are best for the position because some of the footage contains Iraqi slang. Translators would need to start as soon as possible and can work days or nights. One benefit of this position is that we will teach you how to enter translations directly into editing computers. This will make you a more valuable translator in the future! And of course, this is a paid position.

I use to do translations when I lived in Baghdad, including sub-titles for documentaries. I’m fluent in both Arabic and English but I do not live in the US. can this be done online?

Any positions for FARSI translators? Last time I checked–not long after 9/11–they were hiring BY THE HOUR w/no benefits! Puh-leeze! I’m not starving, not even hungry. I lived in Tehran for 9 years, during the end of the last Shah’s reign.

I am a teacher and translator by profession. I wonder if the job is still available. Although i am not an Iraqi but I have decent familiarity with the dialect being a Palestinian and had worked on footage previously on Fehrenheit 9/11.

I will be pleased to offer whatever time required for translation.
Toronto is only an 50 minutes flight from Toronto, but I happen to have qualifaction as a publisher and an Environmtlatist.
During the last few years, I have build a great Politcal and Environmetal relation.
Once I have more details, I am sure I have accsses to a network of people which can’t be matched in North America.
